Every year, the Past Lady Captains of Deer Park get together for nine holes and lunch, hosted by the Captain from ten years before. This year, the honour fell to much beloved Josie Campbell, and a fab day was had by all.
All who attended enjoyed a very special day. The food was delicious and, as always, Ed danced attendance on all. With the club still celebrating its 50th Jubilee year, the occasion was extra special.
Mary Barragry presented Josie with a personalised umbrella bearing her name and the Deer Park Ladies 50th logo, kindly sponsored by Scott McMullen, who embroiders all our club shirts and jumpers. Scott also had another treat up his sleeve in the form of a beautiful notebook for every past Captain, a wonderful commemoration of this special event.
A lovely tradition, and a lovely day.
Congratulations to Josie for hosting, and to Scott for his generosity.
