Howth local Sabina Cassidy claimed top honours at the Howth RNLI Golf Classic 2026, winning the RNLI Perpetual Trophy with a fantastic score of 89 points.
Sabina finished three points clear of Deer Park Golf's Aidan Connellan, who took second place with 86 points.
This year's Golf Classic proved to be the most successful yet, raising an incredible €14,570 for Howth RNLI. Now in its sixth year, the event has raised a remarkable €68,535 in total, thanks to the continued generosity of sponsors, golfers, supporters and volunteers.
A total of 144 golfers took to the course at Deer Park, where the weather added an extra dimension to the challenge. Heavy rain and plenty of wind certainly tested the field, but golfers returned to the clubhouse damp, glowing and, most importantly, still smiling!
