It has been a brilliant summer for the Deer Park Ladies' teams, who are flying the flag for the club in not one but two Leinster inter-club competitions this year.
In the Revive Active Leinster Women's Fourball, the ladies have had an impressive run so far. They kicked off the competition in May with a win against Donabate, followed by a second victory against Correstown in June. Two rounds played, two wins, and Round 3 against St. Margaret's is coming up later this week. We'll be cheering them on.
The ladies are also competing in the Leinster Women's Trophy, where they received a bye in the first round and are now set to face Sutton later this week. Another exciting test ahead.
Under the guidance of Alan Staunton, the team has shown real form and determination throughout the summer. We couldn't be prouder of everyone involved, and there's still plenty of golf left to play.

Golf Ireland's inter-club competitions bring clubs from across the island together to compete in a matchplay format, working their way through regional rounds with the prospect of an All-Ireland Final at the end. They're team events at heart, a chance for club members to pull together, represent their home course, and test themselves against the best in their region. For many golfers, inter-club is the highlight of the competitive calendar.
Deer Park Golf is situated in the picturesque peninsula of Howth, a fishing village north of Dublin city and is open to the public year-round.
