We hope this finds all of our Golfers and visitors safe and well and we are sure that everyone was delighted to see the recent positive news to allow golf to resume under Government and GUI/ILGU guidance.
The golf course is set to re-open on Monday 18th May with the times starting from 7:30am daily, for members of Deer Park Men's Golf Club and Deer Park Ladies Golf Club.
The Reopening Protocol document can be viewed here, this is for all members movements that will take place at Deer Park Golf during Phase 1 of opening. These follow the guidelines by the GUI/ILGU in agreement with the government ahead of golf commencing for many on Monday 18th May.
The protocols are set out for contact tracing and in order to give members the safest environment possible to play the course. We are asking that all members book online and in order to facilitate this we will be implementing the Clubnet Members App for Deer Park Golf, which will be available from Thursday 14th of May.
Our greenkeepers have been working tirelessly during these very difficult times whilst following guidelines for certain tasks under strict Covid-19 essential workers guidelines.
We look forward to welcoming you all back and to see golfers on the fairways again next week. I would like to thank all the members who adhered to the restricted access to the course during the closure and continue to follow the government guidelines.
Please now follow all protocols for golf to continue safely throughout the remainder of the 2020 season. These restrictions will not remain in place forever, however we must be patient in our return to golf as we once knew it. All of this is to ensure a safe and healthy return to the new normal as quickly as possible for all members and staff here at Deer Park Golf
