Full Time and Part Time Seasonal Staff

Deer Park Golf is located in the beautiful grounds of Howth Castle Estate

We are currently recruiting seasonal team members for our Golf Shop for the busy summer season (from March/April through to October/November).

If you have an interest in golf, enjoy working with people and enjoy a fast-paced, lively environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.

The Role

As part of our Golf Shop team, you will help deliver a smooth and enjoyable experience for our golfers and visitors.

Hours

• Flexible working hours
• Must be available for opening and closing shifts
• Opening shifts can start as early as 6:00 a.m. in peak season
• Closing shifts may run until 9:00 p.m.

What We’re Looking For

• Confidence with computers and technology (online booking and timesheet systems)
• Comfortable using tills, handling cash, and answering phones
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A friendly, professional manner that creates a pleasant customer experience
• Sales ability to upsell shop stock, vouchers, and golf lessons
• Some golf knowledge (desirable) to assist customers with queries
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes
• Proactive approach to the upkeep of the shop and rental equipment, including golf club rentals, Buggies and Trolleys.
• Good understanding of basic shop and money handling procedures
• A positive, team-player attitude.
