Well, that's the last of my 18 Summer golf camps done and dusted, for 2026 and I couldn't be happier with how they went.
I had so many wonderful kids (200 in fact!) come through this Summer, and some really smashing little golfers among them. Over the weeks we covered the lot: putting, the short game, the full swing, and getting out and actually playing golf.
The camps ran Monday to Thursday, with morning sessions from 10am to 1pm and afternoon sessions from 2pm to 5pm. The interest was honestly incredible. If I'd had the hours in the day, I could easily have run 30 camps this season!
I can hardly believe we're nearly at the end of August already. This summer has gone by in a blink.
The best part was watching so many of the kids come on. Often it only took a few wee changes to a swing, and they'd see the improvement right away. That moment when it clicks never gets old.
There was plenty of fun had along the way too. A few of the kids even walked away with some prize money for sinking a very long putt or chipping the ball onto the chipping green ten times in a row. No easy feat!
