Deer Park Golf has a long history of being where golfers learned to play, this tradition is continued by our Head PGA Golf Professional, Alan Staunton.
A native of Sutton, Alan himself could be seen as a young man swinging a club on the course at Deer Park and today he is delighted to introduce golfers young and old to the mysteries of the game.
With over 25 years experience in teaching in both the USA and Ireland, Alan is an expert in coaching all aspects of the game. Where his speciality and deep appreciation lies is in the short game and it is in sharing this expertise that he can see immediate improvements during his lessons.
Alan's favourite quote is that "42% of golf is in the short game" and his patient demeanour coupled with his attention to detail and desire to help every player improve ensures a high level of instruction.
Alan is available throughout the week offering individuals, couples or groups. He also offers a golf clinics or accompanied rounds for groups who are unfamiliar with the course.
