We were delighted to host the annual @howthrnli Golf Classic in September with 36 teams participating. This incredible team of community fundraising volunteers work tirelessly in and around Howth, devoting their time to raising vital funds for RNLI Howth.
Here at Deer Park Golf it was our privilege to host this 2025 Golf Classic. A great day was had by all with 140 golfers entered and blessed with some amazingly good weather. €12,700 was raised through the event and all these funds will go towards funding the best boats, training and equipment for their volunteers.
The overall 1st Prize and Perpetual Trophy was won by John Barrett, Philip Ryan, Martin Whatley and Alan Clarke with 88 points! Runners Up went to Sharon Carton, Jennifer Buckley, Wendy Buckley and Margaret McKenna only 1 point behind on 87 points. The winners of the mixed Team were Aideen Jeffares, Sean Kenny, Robert Kenny and Emma Kenny with 82 points. Ladies team winners were Mary Fitzgerald, Rita Sweetman, Valerie O'Neill and Rose McDunphy with 80 points. Men's team winners were Peter Emmett, John Kirby, Soren Madsen and Jonathan Butler with 82 points.
Nearest the Pin Ladies Chloe Gauvin and Men's went to Ross Stanley
Longest drive went to Gillian Guinness for the Ladies and James Hoyne for the Men.
