The sun shone brightly today for our beloved Red Rock Golfers. However, this bunch of hardy golfers don't rely on good weather to head out on our St. Fintan's Golf Course. The Red Rock group head out twice a week all year round and enjoy their weekly social golf and banter.
Today we celebrate two special birthdays, Joe Kelly who celebrated his 93rd birthday and John Bernard who celebrated 90 years. There is no stopping these two legends who we are told are still hard to beat. Last year Joe Kelly won the Societies' Golfer of the Year award in a most competitive field.
The Red Rock Group was formed 20 years ago, in 2004 and has 10-20 regular players. They tee off every Tuesday and Friday morning at 9.15 and are delighted to welcome new members to the group. If you would like to join them email Alan@deerparkgolf.ie and he will be delighted to pass on your details.
